Following your purchase we will work with you to develop a personally tailored aftercare programme of follow up visits, six-monthly check ups and reassessments to ensure you receive the perfect level of support.

Follow up appointments

It can take time to get used to a new hearing aid. Follow up appointments are used to discuss your initial experiences with your hearing aid and make sure your hearing aid is supporting your hearing the best it can. We can make any necessary fine tuning adjustments to improve the performance of your hearing aid and to ensure you are getting the most effective and comfortable hearing experience.

Six monthly check ups

A six monthly appointment typically takes about 15 minutes. We give your ears a quick health check and make sure your hearing aid is in full working order. Where necessary, we will give it a quick clean and make any fine adjustments. This appointment also allows you to discuss any important changes to your hearing or lifestyle that may affect the effectiveness or efficient working of your hearing aid.

Reassessments

Just as your eyesight gradually changes over time, so too does your hearing. We recommend a full hearing reassessment every 2 years. This appointment will follow the same format as your initial assessment but will also include further checks to see whether your hearing aids need adjusting or reprogramming to ensure it is supporting your changing hearing levels effectively. Usually these appointments will take between 30 minutes and an hour.

On hand when you need us

We know there are times when you will need to see us in a hurry - if you are off on holiday for example - and want your hearing aid checked and to stock up on batteries before you leave; or if you have an important event where you need your hearing to be at its best, we will do our utmost to fi t you in without delay. Generally we should be able to see you within seven days of your call.

If you need batteries or accessories and cannot get to us, we can send them to you by post. You will still benefi t from the great discounted rates and your order is delivered direct to your door. All orders over £10 are delivered free of charge.
